A BRIEF LAMENT
Where can I go after breakfast
And a cup of tea?
Who, out there in the street,
Will be glad to see me?
Where can I go, now the dishes
Are finally done?
I really can't imagine, so I stay,
Sitting quietly, here in the sun.
